Tara Estrella and myself both met up in the library to discuss our views on mass media.

The sociological perspective on the media that I agree with the most is the interactionist view because I often find myself making friends with people because of similar interests in different media such as television, movies, and games.
The sociological perspective on the media that Tara agrees with the most is the feminist view because she frequently sees women portrayed as weak, unintelligent, and too sexual on television. (e.g. Two and Half Men)
The feminist perspective can be acknowledged for the fact that it is true. Women all the time are being undervalued and not taken into consideration. But we are all allowed to have different perspectives and sociological topics. I agreed with the functionalist perspective because of how we receive information from mass media. It is hard not to be around media for the most part. Everywhere we go with cell phones now upgrading with fast speed internet installed and different apps, it is hard not to be involved. All different devices and technology is evolving; sooner or later our world will be completely based off of it. But we all know if we miss a game or show on TV we can always rely on media to give us feedback and highlights of what happen. Mass media revolves around us!
